hydroponics how to grow tomatoes

Is hydroponic produce grown without pesticides? They are usually genetically modified?
I realize that my hydroponic tomatoes market look like they are much better quality than others, even organic ones. In the U.S. Northeast almost never find ripe red tomatoes unless you go to a farmer's market. Hydroponic crops are always nice and red, the rest - hard and orange. But I wonder if they are GMOs? And if they are GMOs and not grown with pesticides, is the next best thing to organic, right? Maybe even better because you can actually try them.
OMG Probably not, because I do not think there is a body genetically modified tomatoes in the market today. There have been a couple in the past, but the taste was so bad (said to taste like kerosene) that were recalled and commercial farmers refused to grow them. If you want to look to be safe on the label. If the number starts with an 8 is a GMO, If the number starts with 9 is certified organic. if it is a 4-digit number is conventionally grown, but not of GMOs. hydroponics is not the same as organic (although there organic hydroponics farms). The slurry fed nutrients to plants is not a natural food is chemical fertilizers. Greenhouses manage pest problems and therefore is not unknown for a hydroponic operation to use poisons in the home to kill pests. Food grown in the earth generally tastes better than food grown with a chemical mixture, the mixture does not have the complete supply of nutrients usually found in healthy soil, especially soil organic well managed.
