Or if you want to save on lighting costs, you can always grow plants with medium to low light requirements such as philodendron or Boston ferns.

Oxygen Supply

You also need to ensure that there is insufficient supply of oxygen flowing through of hydroponics garden plants, especially when they are growing at an establishment only in the interior and the basement or garage. If this is the case, you can provide an adequate supply of oxygen to plants by bubbling air through the water solution.

Also, make sure that the range temperature in the hydroponic garden is just the right degree. This is usually linked to 75 degrees Fahrenheit but can be higher or lower depending on the type of plants grown and the season.

Nutrient supply

Although you can make your own hydroponic nutrients, recommended commercial rates, simply because these have proven effective through years of research and development. It is also more convenient, therefore, allowing you to concentrate on other aspects of the garden.

The choice of nutrients depends on the types of plants that are grown and the stage are in the growth cycle. You may have to experiment with the proportions and feeding schedules to maximize results.
