I have also been given extra vegetable planting. Today someone was giving away two roses! Other sites to check are craigslist and the local web sites.
Sunday Drive:  Do not forget to take a nice slow drive through your neighborhood local, especially after a sunny Saturday. not uncommon garbage bags or cardboard boxes full of plants on the sidewalk with a sign saying "FREE".  You will surely find lilies that!
Initiate an exchange: the beginning of its own plant exchange. Advertising in a free site like Craigslist, in a radio point of gardening, grocery ads board, or neighborhood fliers. What one days fun to be meeting with others as a passion and barter for treasures!
